Vocational Identity

Holland, Daiger, and Power (1980), "the possession of a clear and stable picture of one's goals, interests, personality, and talents" (p. 1). Originally predicted to lead to untroubled decision-making and confidence in making good vocational decisions, the construct has been found to correlate positively with nearly all desirable vocational outcomes and negatively with nearly all undesirable ones.
